NOTICE, LETTER OF GOOD CONDUCT

Currently, the Letter of Good Conduct is issued based on statutory declaration within 3 working days. 

However, with effect from 28th June 2013, Letter of Good Conduct will NOT be issued based on statutory declaration.

All applications must be submitted online as per Procedure A as mention below. Applicant should check the status after two (2) weeks from the date of application. For approved application, please follow Procedure B for collection.

PROCEDURE TO REGISTER GOOD CONDUCT ONLINE

Procedure A:

STEP 1 – www.kln.gov.my

STEP 2 – Go to 'Quicklinks' ---> Letter of Good Conduct (SKB)

STEP 3 – Submit application online

STEP 4 - Print out acknowledgement slip

STEP 5 - Check the status of your application online.
             (processing time: Max. 2 months)

(Please use Mozilla Firefox version 3.6 (or higher) as the web browser. Resolution of 1280x800 (or higher) is recommended for the best view. Acrobat Reader (PDF) is required to view and print the application form.

Procedure B:

For APPROVED Good Conduct Application
(issuance of letter of Good Conduct at High Commission of Malaysia,Singapore), the procedures are as follows:-

i) Present a copy of the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP (online)

ii) Present a copy of the APPROVAL PAGE which states 'Certificate is ready for collection'

iii) A copy of the applicant's
    a. Malaysian Identity Card & Malaysian Passport OR
    b. Foreign Passport
    c. Singapore PR IC / Work Permit / Employment Pass & etc.

iv) Payment of SGD7.50 (applicable to currency exchange rate)

v) Collection at Consular Section after 3 working days

All foreign certs, ID's & documents to be certified true copy from relevant embassies.

NOTE:
The above regulation and procedure is applicable to those who are residing and employed in Singapore ONLY.

Friday (8.15am to 11.30am)
Closed on Saturday,Sunday & Public Holiday (refer to public holiday)
